Product Information and Safety - GPSR
From 13 December 2024, new rules for product safety will apply under Regulation (EU) 2023/988, also known as GPSR. This legislation strengthens consumer protection by ensuring that products sold within the EU/EEA meet safety standards. The rules cover all goods that are not already covered by specific EU legislation.
What GPSR means for you as a customer
All products sold via Twinnie o´clock are carefully checked to meet the requirements set out in GPSR.
The products are marked with clear traceability information.
Our obligations as a company
To comply with GPSR, we work actively with:
Product safety: Our internal procedures ensure that products are safe and that any risks are managed effectively.
Traceability: Products are marked with unique identifiers to ensure traceability.
Problem resolution: In the event of recalls, customers are offered options such as replacement or refund.
Communication: We cooperate with authorities in the event of safety incidents and inform affected consumers directly.
How products are labeled
Physical products are labeled directly on the product, or in some cases, on the packaging. The label contains the following information
Product: Product name
Article number: Own traceable number or EAN
Importer: The company that imported the product (only outside the EU.
